Half your beans, wasted

You buy beans you actually love, then watch grams of them stick inside the grinder and go stale before they ever reach the cup.

Most grinders hoard yesterday's coffee in their chamber, so today's cup is half fresh, half forgotten. This one is built around a see-through catch bin and a stainless steel conical burr, so what goes in comes out, gram for gram, at the exact coarseness you set. Twenty-five fixed-point levels and a timer set in seconds mean the dial stops being a guess. Every morning, the same grind, the same dose, none of it lost.

Grind it once, get all of it.

Care & maintenance

Burr grinders collect oil and fines. A weekly brush keeps the grind consistent.

  • Weekly brush-out: Remove the bean hopper and upper burr. Use the included brush (stored on the back of the bean bin cover) to sweep coffee fines and oils from the burr chamber. This keeps the grind uniform and prevents a stale-coffee taste.
  • Monthly deep clean: Disassemble the hopper, burrs, and catch bin. Wash the removable plastic parts with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before reassembling. Never submerge the motor base.
  • Wipe the touch screen: Use a soft, barely damp cloth. No sprays, no abrasive cleaners. The touch sensor is delicate.
  • Empty the hopper between roasts: Different beans, different oils. A clean hopper prevents flavor cross-contamination.

Frequently asked

How does the touch-screen timer work?

Set your grind time in seconds on the touch screen, then start. The grinder runs for the time you set and stops on its own, so every dose is repeatable.

What is the vertical Italian stand for?

It holds an espresso portafilter directly under the grinder spout so you grind straight into the basket. No scoop, no spills, less static mess. It fits standard 51 mm and 53 mm portafilters.

How fine can it grind for espresso?

The finest setting (1) produces espresso-fine grounds suited to pressurized portafilters and many semi-automatic machines. Dial up toward 25 for pour-over and French press.

Does it produce a lot of static?

Some, especially in dry winter air. The anti-flying powder design and concentrated spout reduce scatter, and a quick spritz of water on the beans before grinding (the Ross Droplet Technique) clears most static cling.

Can I grind directly into my portafilter?

Yes, using the included vertical Italian stand. Attach the stand to the base, set your portafilter in the holder, and grind. It is cleaner and faster than scooping from the catch bin.
