- Rich & full-bodied: A fine steel mesh lets the coffee oils through, for a velvety cup.
- Hot for 2 hours: Double-wall 304 steel keeps your coffee hot for 2 hours. The outside stays cool to the touch.
- Nothing but 304 steel: No plastic in the brew path, no paper filter, no BPA.
- Coffee for 1 to 6: Pick 12 oz for your morning mug, or 34 oz for the whole table.
Serves 1-2 cups
Grounds in. Water over. The double-wall steel sits cool to the touch while the coffee inside stays hot. Press when ready.
The Signature Stainless Steel French Press is built from double-wall 304 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish that holds brewing heat without warming the outer surface. A two-part plunger pairs a fine mesh screen with a perforated steel plate, so the grounds stay down and the oils that give French press its full body come through. Inside, an etched cup and ounce gauge lets you pour to the line. Three sizes, from a single-serve 12oz to a 34oz pot for the table. No plastic, no BPA, no compromise.
The insulation does the work. The steel just gets out of the way.

Specifications
Sizes & dimensions
Heights measured with the plunger raised. The largest press weighs just over 1 lb (about 500 g).
Brew ratios
A good place to start is 1:16 by weight, one part coffee to sixteen parts water. Medium-coarse grind. Four-minute steep. Steady press, no force.
Water temperature: 200 °F (93 °C). Ten seconds off the boil.
Care & maintenance
Stainless steel resists staining, but coffee oils accumulate. A regular rinse keeps the flavor clean.
- After each brew: Discard grounds, rinse the mesh screen under warm water. The double-wall build keeps the body cool enough to handle right away.
- Weekly deep clean: Unscrew the plunger, separate the mesh screen and press plate, soak in warm soapy water for ten minutes, scrub gently with a soft brush.
- Polish preservation: Dry the exterior with a soft cloth after washing to keep the mirror finish bright. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
Frequently asked
What does double-wall insulated mean?
The body has two steel walls with an insulating gap between them that slows heat transfer. Your coffee stays hot for 2 hours while the outside stays cool to the touch.
How good is the filter?
The plunger has two parts working together: a fine stainless mesh screen backed by a perforated press plate. Together they hold the grounds down and let the coffee oils through, for a full-bodied cup with minimal sediment.
Is the 12 oz Signature French Press big enough for two cups?
Yes, for two small cups or one large mug. It holds 350 ml and stands 6.4 in tall. For two full mugs or more, the 27 oz (800 ml) serves 2 to 4.
Which size should I choose?
The 12 oz makes one large mug or two small cups (1-2 people). The 27 oz serves two to four. The 34 oz fills four to six cups for a small gathering. The etched cup gauge inside makes it easy to pour to the right amount, and the double-wall insulation keeps it hot as you go.
Is there any plastic in this French press?
No. The body, lid, handle, mesh screen and press plate are all 304 stainless steel, so nothing plastic touches the coffee. It is BPA-free and food-grade throughout.
What grind should I use, and how much coffee for the 34 oz?
Medium-coarse, about the texture of coarse sea salt. For the 34 oz (1000 ml), start with 2.2 oz (63 g) of coffee, water at 200 °F (93 °C), and a four-minute steep.
French press vs AeroPress: which one should I get?
A French press steeps the grounds fully and lets the coffee oils through its steel mesh, so the cup has more body, and the 34 oz serves 4 to 6 cups at once. An AeroPress brews one cup at a time through a paper filter, for a lighter, cleaner cup. If you brew for two or more, or like a fuller cup, the French press fits better.
The purest brew
Four reasons it makes a better cup.
Full immersion
All the grounds steep together in the water for four minutes, for an even, full extraction.
Heat retention
Two steel walls with an insulating gap slow heat loss. The coffee stays hot, the outside stays cool.

304 stainless steel
Food-grade, mirror-polished steel inside and out. It resists corrosion and will not react with coffee oils.
Dual-mesh filtration
A fine mesh screen backed by a perforated press plate holds the grounds down and lets the oils through.
