Care & maintenance

Plastic and rubber wipe clean easily, no soaking, no submersion.

  • Wipe only: Damp cloth, mild soap if needed. Never run the scale under water, the electronics are not waterproof.
  • Calibrate occasionally: Most scales drift over time. Use a known weight (a new nickel is 5 grams) to check accuracy once a month.
  • Battery care: Remove batteries if storing the scale for more than a month. Old batteries leak and corrode the contacts.
  • Flat surface only: The four sensors need even contact. Weighing on a tilted counter throws off the reading.
