Our story
We curate.
You brew.
A small team obsessed with manual coffee: the press, the hand grinder, the pour-over. This is what we found, tested, and kept.
Chapter one
We bought too many things, kept the few that worked, and gave the rest away.
We started the way most coffee obsessions start. Tired of paying $5 at a café for something we could brew better at home. Tired of gimmicky single serve machines marketed as barista quality.
Tired of a French press that lost its heat by minute three. So we did what any obsessed person does: we tested, compared, and started again until the cup was right.

Chapter two
The edit, not the catalog.
Most coffee accessory shops sell everything. We sell what survived our own kitchen.
Presses that hold their heat. Grinders that go from coarse to fine without complaint. Kettles that pour the way pour over wants. Everything else stayed out.
Each piece in the shop earned its slot on our bench.

Chapter three
Premium that explains itself.
Premium too often means expensive on purpose. We do not work that way.
When a press costs more than the one at the supermarket, the page tells you why: the grade of the steel, the build of the walls, the details you feel every morning. We explain the price, then you decide.
The same goes for materials. The page tells you what your coffee touches, and on the pieces we mark Zero plastic in the coffee path, that is only metal, glass or wood, checked against the maker's material list.

Chapter four
Who we serve.
The home barista who brews by hand. Not the influencer who needs a twelve piece kit. The actual person who wakes up, brews their morning cup, and wants it to taste like the café down the street.
You do not need thirty products. You need three or four good ones, and the time to use them.
What we believe
Three rules
we keep.
They shape what goes in the shop, what we write about it, and how we answer you.
No catalog padding.
If we would not put it on our own bench, it does not go in the shop.
No unprovable claims.
No "100% sustainable." No "best in the world." Specifics or silence.
No fake friends.
When you write to us, a real person from the team replies, within 24 hours on weekdays.
The bench
Three pieces we reach for every morning.
Start with these. Add the rest when you know what your cup needs.
