- Brush after every grind: A small stiff brush clears retained grounds from the burrs and the catch cup. Oils turn rancid if left inside.
- Deep clean monthly: Take apart the three sections, rinse burrs and chamber under warm water, air-dry fully. The aluminum body wipes clean with a damp cloth.
- Check the center shaft: Every few months, twist the dial through its full range. If you feel grit or resistance, rinse and dry the shaft so it spins freely again.
- Burr longevity: Hardened steel burrs dull slowly and stay sharp through years of daily grinding.
- Wood knob care: Wipe with a barely damp cloth. Once or twice a year, rub a drop of food-grade mineral oil into the wood to prevent cracking.
