Heritage Hand Mill
Stainless steel burrs · Two-tone wood and metal · Long curved crank · Five colorways
The hand mill belongs to the counter, the shelf, the bag. Wood warms metal, the crank turns long and even, the drawer fills with what you asked for. This one holds a full pot's worth and looks like something handed down.
The Heritage Hand Mill is a cylindrical manual burr grinder with a two-tone wood and matte metal body, stainless steel conical burrs, and a long curved crank handle. 30g bean capacity, 35g grounds capacity, adjustable grind from espresso to French press, available in five wood and metal colorways.

Care & maintenance
Wood and steel age differently, both well. The mill gets better with use.
- Wipe the body: Soft cloth on metal, dry cloth on wood. Oil the wood once a year if it looks thirsty.
- Empty the drawer: Tap out grounds after each use. A brush keeps the chamber from building residue.
- Hand wash only: Warm water on metal parts, keep wood dry. No dishwasher, the heat warps the fit.
- Burr cleaning: Brush out coffee dust monthly. Steel burrs last a decade, longer if kept dry between grinds.
Frequently asked
How much coffee does it grind at once?
30g of beans, enough for two full cups or one small pot. The drawer holds 35g of grounds, so there's room for the volume increase after grinding.
Why the long crank handle?
Leverage. The longer arm turns easier, takes less effort per rotation. The curve keeps your hand clear of the body while you work.
Does the wood colorway affect anything?
No, all five use the same burrs and metal body. Pick the wood tone that fits your counter. Lighter woods show less wear, darker woods deepen with age.
Can I adjust grind size mid-use?
Not while grinding. Empty the mill, adjust the dial at the base, then reload. Forcing adjustment under load damages the burr threads.
Is this better than the smaller manual grinders?
Different. This holds more, grinds faster with the long handle, sits on the counter instead of traveling. If you grind at home for more than one cup, yes, this is better.
