Care & maintenance
Two materials, two routines. Keep them apart at the sink.
- Glass: Warm water, soft sponge. Dishwasher safe on top rack.
- Wood base: Wipe with damp cloth, never submerge or dishwasher. Annual mineral oil rub keeps the wood from drying.
- Heat: Borosilicate handles hot pours. Avoid pouring boiling water on a cold glass straight from the freezer.
- Storage: Glass and base apart on the shelf, base ring up.

What drinks fit 7 oz?

Will the borosilicate crack?
It tolerates temperature changes better than standard glass. Boiling water on a cold-from-freezer glass is still a bad idea.
Wood care often?
Once a year, a drop of food-grade mineral oil rubbed into the base keeps the wood looking fresh and prevents drying cracks.
