The Brew Kit
Grind, pour, wait four minutes, press.
- Our two most ordered pieces: The Signature press and the Precision grinder, the pair customers most often buy together.
- Grind right before you brew: Set the burr to coarse and the press gets an even grind its mesh can filter cleanly.
- Hot to the last cup: Double-wall 304 steel keeps the coffee hot while the outside stays cool.
- One price for the pair: The kit costs less than the two pieces bought separately.
Two things change a French press cup more than anything else: beans ground right before you brew, and a press that holds its heat. The Brew Kit gives you both, for less than buying them one by one.
Inside: the Signature Stainless Steel French Press, double-wall 304 stainless steel with a two-part mesh plunger, and the Precision Manual Grinder, a hand burr grinder you set to French-press coarse with a dial at the base. They are our two most ordered pieces, and the pair customers most often buy together.

What's in the kit
- The Signature Stainless Steel French Press in 350 ml (serves 1-2), 800 ml (serves 2-4) or 1 L (serves 4-6). Double-wall 304 stainless steel, mirror-polished, fine mesh screen with a perforated press plate. No plastic, BPA-free.
- The Precision Manual Grinder in Brushed Silver or Brushed Black. Conical burr in a brushed 304 stainless steel body, grind dial from espresso-fine to French-press-coarse, folding handle that lifts off.
Why grind your own
- Burr-ground, not blade-chopped: a conical burr crushes beans to an even size, so extraction is balanced and the cup tastes cleaner.
- The right size for a press: set the dial to coarse and the mesh screen keeps the grounds where they belong.
- No cord, no motor: quiet enough for an early morning.
Your first brew
- 1 · Grind: medium-coarse, about 21 g for the 350 ml, 50 g for the 800 ml, 63 g for the 1 L. The grinder holds enough beans for 1 to 2 cups per fill, so larger presses take two or three fills.
- 2 · Pour: water at about 93 °C, ten seconds off the boil. A ratio of 1:16 by weight is a good start.
- 3 · Steep: four minutes, lid on.
- 4 · Press: a steady press, no force, then pour.
