Pro Coffee Vault
Gas out, oxygen kept out.
- Fresh beans, no pumping: The one-way valve lets CO2 out and keeps oxygen out.
- Sealed and dark: A clasp lid and gasket on 304 steel block air, moisture and light.
- Roast date on the lid: A dial marks the month and day.
- A whole 12 oz bag: Holds 250 to 300 g of beans, with a clip-on steel scoop.
A 1.2 L airtight canister with a one-way exhaust valve, beans degas, oxygen stays out. The Pro Vault is what coffee asks for when you commit to fresh roast: dark, sealed, breathing in one direction only.
The Pro Coffee Vault is a round stainless steel vault with a clasp-lock lid, built-in date tracker, and a one-way air vent. Holds up to 1.2 L of whole beans (about 1.2 liters).

Care & maintenance
Stainless steel forgives almost everything. The gasket does not.
- Wipe clean: Damp cloth on the exterior. Warm soapy water inside if coffee oils build up, but rinse and dry fully.
- Dry the gasket: Remove the silicone ring after washing, let it air-dry separately. Trapped moisture breeds mildew.
- Check the valve: Once a month, press the one-way vent to make sure it's not clogged with coffee dust. A toothpick clears it quickly.
- Date dial: Rotate to match the roast date when you refill. It's a visual timer, not a guarantee, trust your nose first.
Frequently asked
Does a full 340 g bag of beans fit in the 1.2 L Pro Coffee Vault?
Yes, with room to spare. The 1.2 L vault holds roughly 250 to 300 g of whole beans, depending on how dense the roast is.
What does the one-way valve do?
Freshly roasted beans release CO₂ for days after roasting. The valve lets the gas escape without allowing oxygen in, which would stale the coffee faster. It's passive, no pumping required.
How does the date tracker work?
The lid has a rotating dial with month and day markings. Set it to the roast date when you fill the canister. It's a manual reminder, not an expiry alarm, coffee stays good for weeks, but peak flavor is the first two.
Is it actually airtight?
Yes. The clasp-lock lid compresses a silicone gasket around the rim. Properly closed, it blocks oxygen, moisture, and light. Not vacuum-sealed, but tight enough for home use.
Can I store ground coffee in it?
You can, but ground coffee stales much faster than whole beans, within days, not weeks. If you pre-grind, use it quickly. The canister slows oxidation, it doesn't stop time.
Does it come with a scoop?
Yes. A stainless steel scoop clips onto the canister.
Stainless steel vs glass coffee canister: which is better?
Stainless steel blocks light, which clear glass does not, and light speeds up staling. This one adds a clasp-lock lid with a silicone gasket and a one-way CO₂ valve for fresh roasts.
Black or beige Pro Coffee Vault: does the finish change anything?
No. Matte black and soft beige share the same 304 stainless steel body, clasp-lock lid, one-way CO₂ valve and date dial. Both stand 18.8 cm tall and 13 cm wide.
