Electric gooseneck · 34 oz capacity · Stepless temperature · 1000W power

Pour-over asks for three things. Temperature within a few degrees. A stream you can read. A spout that doesn't gush. This kettle gives all three, then holds the line for as long as you need.

The Editor's Gooseneck Kettle is a 34 oz electric kettle built for pour-over coffee and loose-leaf tea. Stepless temperature control from 104°F to 212°F, digital display, gooseneck spout for precision pouring.

Dial the degrees, pour the coffee.

Care & maintenance

Stainless steel forgives almost everything. Descale every few months, wipe the outside, keep the base dry.

  • Descale monthly: Fill halfway with equal parts water and white vinegar, boil, let cool 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly. Mineral buildup slows heating and clouds the interior.
  • Wipe the exterior: Damp cloth, no abrasive scrubbers. Fingerprints show more on matte finishes, but a quick wipe resets it.
  • Dry the base: Never submerge the power base or let water pool around the connector. A wet base shorts the heating element.
  • Wide opening: The 3.5-inch opening fits a hand and a sponge, easier cleaning than narrow-neck kettles.

Frequently asked

What does stepless temperature mean?

Turn the dial to any temperature between 104°F and 212°F, no preset buttons, no 10-degree jumps. White tea at 175°F, green at 185°F, pour-over at 200°F: dial it, the kettle holds it.

Does it hold temperature?

Yes. Set a temperature below boiling, the kettle heats to that point and maintains it. Lift the kettle to pour, return it to the base, it remembers the setting and reheats if needed.

Why a gooseneck spout?

Pour-over coffee needs a slow, controlled stream. A gooseneck spout narrows the flow and steadies the pour, no splashing, no flooding the coffee bed.

What is pot-lift memory?

Lift the kettle off the base to pour, set it back down, the base remembers your temperature setting and resumes heating if the water has cooled. No need to reset the dial every time.

Can I use it for tea?

Yes. White tea at 175°F, green at 180°F, oolong at 190°F, black at 200°F. Dial the right temperature, steep directly in the cup or in a teapot. The gooseneck also pours gently enough for delicate loose leaves.
