Care & maintenance

After each brew: Empty the leaves, rinse the glass body and ceramic infuser with warm water.
Walnut: Wipe the wood band and knob dry, never soak. Occasional food-safe oil keeps them in shape.
Hand wash: Glass and ceramic both wash by hand. Avoid dishwasher cycles for the wood components.
Travel: The compact body fits in a bag pocket, glass is fragile so cushion it.

How does the brewer work?

The ceramic inner cup has small strainer holes. Place loose-leaf tea inside, pour hot water through, the brew passes through the holes into the glass outer chamber while the leaves stay above. Lift the inner cup out when steeped, drink from the glass.

What teas does it suit?

All loose-leaf. Green, black, oolong, white, herbal. The strainer holes are sized for typical loose-leaf, fine teas may release some particles.

What is the wooden band for?

Wood does not transfer heat. The band wraps the middle of the glass body, giving you a cool grip surface even when the brew inside is hot. Functional and decorative.

Travel-friendly?
