Glass + plastic · 450 ml · Slow drip cold brew · 24×10 cm

One drop. Wait. Another drop. Wait. The water passes through the grounds at the rhythm of a slow heartbeat. Two hours later, a small carafe of the cleanest cold coffee you have ever poured.

The Slow Drip Cold Brewer is a compact glass-and-plastic ice drip tower in a portable size. Cold water above, ice cubes optional, a regulated drip valve sets the pace. The slow extraction yields the smoothest cold brew profile.

Patience, distilled.

Care & maintenance

Drip towers reward routine. Rinse, empty, dry, repeat.

  • After each brew: Empty the grounds and any residual water, rinse all glass parts under warm water.
  • Weekly: Mild detergent on the glass, soft brush on the drip valve to dissolve coffee oils.
  • Hand wash: The glass is dishwasher safe but the plastic frame and valve last longer with hand wash.
  • Storage: Disassemble and dry fully before storing to prevent any water marks.

Frequently asked

How long does slow drip take?

Two to three hours for a full 450 ml batch, depending on the drip rate. Set the valve to one drip per second for a balanced brew, slower for a more concentrated cup.

Why drip cold brew over immersion cold brew?

Drip extraction is gentler and more precise. The contact time per ground is shorter, the flavor profile cleaner and brighter. Immersion (the carafe method) gives a heavier body, drip gives a tea-like clarity.

Do I add ice or just cold water?

Cold water alone works. Adding ice to the top chamber slightly slows the drip and keeps the water below 10 °C through the brew, which some find produces a smoother cup.

What grind size?

Medium-coarse, finer than French press but coarser than pour-over. The grounds should hold their shape under the slow water flow without clogging the filter.

Is 450 ml enough for two people?

Yes, when served over ice. Cold brew concentrate is typically diluted, so 450 ml of brew yields around 800 ml of drinking coffee on the rocks.
