Diamond Manual Grinder
Manual grinder · Conical burrs · 2 in body · Adjustable grind
The faceted aluminum catches light like a cut stone. Underneath the geometry: conical steel burrs, a magnetic handle, a clicking grind dial. Precision disguised as sculpture.
The Diamond Manual Grinder is a 2 in hand grinder in machined aluminum with conical stainless steel burrs. Two finishes: obsidian black, star silver.
Geometry meets grind.

Care & maintenance
Metal forgives mistakes. Burrs demand attention.
- Brush after every grind: A small stiff brush clears retained grounds from the burrs and the catch cup. Oils turn rancid if left inside.
- Deep clean monthly: Disassemble the three sections, rinse burrs and chamber under warm water, air-dry fully. The aluminum body wipes clean with a damp cloth.
- Check the center shaft: Every few months, twist the adjustment dial through the full range. If you feel grit or resistance, the bearings need cleaning, rinse and dry.
- Burr lifespan: Steel burrs dull slowly. Expect 500–800 pounds of coffee before sharpness drops noticeably. Replacement burrs are available separately.
- Wood knob care: Wipe with a barely damp cloth. Once or twice a year, rub a drop of food-grade mineral oil into the beech to prevent cracking.
Frequently asked
How do I adjust the grind size?
Turn the numbered dial at the base of the burr chamber. Clockwise for finer (espresso), counter-clockwise for coarser (French press). Each click is, so two full rotations cover the full brew-method range.
What is the difference between black and silver?
Both share the same burrs, the same adjustment mechanism, the same aluminum body. Black is matte and modern, silver is brighter and shows the metal grain. Pick the one that fits your counter.
Can it grind fine enough for espresso?
Yes. The 2 in conical burrs and click precision let you dial in espresso grind. Expect 40–60 seconds of cranking for a double shot, depending on your arm speed.
How many beans fit inside?
About 25–30 grams (roughly 0.9–1.1 oz), enough for two large mugs or three espresso doubles. Grind what you brew, the rest stays fresh in the bag.
Why a magnetic handle?
Magnets let you detach the crank instantly for storage or travel without unscrewing threads. The connection is solid enough for grinding, loose enough to pull off with one hand.
