The Studio Ceramic French Press has a high-fired ceramic body with a natural wooden lid, a 304 stainless steel multi-piece filter, and a food-grade silicone seal. The pour spout is shaped for a smooth, drip-free flow. Six colors available.

Care & maintenance

Three materials, three small routines. Ceramic likes warmth gradually, wood needs dry care, the steel filter rinses clean.

  • Pre-warm: Rinse the empty carafe with warm water before brewing.
  • Filter: Disassemble the multi-piece filter, rinse with warm water, brush the mesh with a soft brush.
  • Wooden lid: Wipe dry, never soak. Occasional food-safe oil keeps the wood in shape.
  • Hand wash recommended: Mild soap, soft sponge. The wood and silicone last longer hand-washed.

Frequently asked

Why a wooden lid?

Wood does not transfer heat. The lid stays cool to grip when the body is hot. It also reads warm against the colored ceramic, a small material contrast that ages well.

Is 304 stainless safe in the brew?

Yes, food-grade 304 is the same neutral material used in commercial kitchens. The multi-piece filter assembly catches the grounds and lets the coffee oils through.

How do the six colors compare?

White is bright and clean. Gray reads soft stone. Red is bold, coral-warm. Yellow is sunny. Light blue is calm. Green is sage, fresh. The body construction is identical, only the glaze differs.

What grind size?

Coarse, like breadcrumbs, not table salt. Fine grounds will pass through the mesh and add sediment to the cup.

Will the wooden lid warp over time?

Not with normal use. The wood is treated for kitchen environments. Avoid soaking and dishwasher cycles, both of which stress the wood. Wipe dry after washing.
