Care & maintenance

Borosilicate is thermal-shock resistant, but it is still glass. Handle it accordingly.

  • Hand wash preferred: Warm soapy water, soft sponge. The double-wall design traps no residue, so cleaning is quick.
  • Dishwasher safe: Top rack only. Avoid high-heat dry cycles, they stress the glass walls over time.
  • No abrasive scrubbers: Steel wool or hard brushes scratch the interior walls, which weakens the thermal seal.
  • Dry fully before stacking: Moisture trapped between the walls can fog the glass from inside. Air-dry upside down on a rack.

How does the double-wall insulation work?

Two glass walls with a thin air gap between them. The air layer blocks heat transfer, so hot drinks stay hot longer and cold drinks stay cold without sweating. Your hands stay comfortable either way.

What is the pressure-equalizing membrane?

A tiny hydrophobic silicone valve under the glass base. It equalizes air pressure between the walls when the glass heats or cools, preventing the walls from cracking.
