Care & maintenance
Coffee oils settle on every surface. A quick rinse after each shot keeps the next one clean.
- After each shot: Empty the spent grounds, rinse the brew chamber and integrated cup with hot water.
- Before storage: Empty the water reservoir fully and air dry, especially the rubber gasket.
- Periodic: Wash with mild soap and warm water, no abrasive scrubbers on the brew chamber.

Does it need batteries or electricity?
Neither. The Voyager runs on hand pressure. Pump the top with your palm to build the pressure that pushes hot water through the grounds. No outlets, no charging, no compromise on a remote trip.
What kind of coffee should I use?
Finely ground espresso coffee, fresh if possible. The pump pressure works best on a fine grind, like commercial espresso. Pre-ground works too but loses aroma quickly.
How many shots per fill?
One shot per fill. The 80 ml water capacity yields a single espresso or ristretto, depending on the dose and pump speed. For a longer cup, brew twice.
Is it safe in luggage?
Yes. Empty the water reservoir before packing, secure the cap, and store dry. The body is shock-resistant for cabin or check-in luggage.
Can I use hot water from any source?
Yes, as long as it is below boiling. Around 90 °C / 195 °F is ideal. Hotel kettles, camping stoves, thermos flasks all work.
