Frequently asked
Why deep bowl?
Deep bowls hold beans without spillage when scooping from a canister. Easier to dose accurately than shallow scoops where beans roll off the edges.
15 ml or 30 ml?
15 ml is roughly 7-8 g of beans, the dose for a single pour-over cup. 30 ml is 14-16 g, double cup or single French press. Pick by your default brew size.
Flat-bottom version, what's the difference?
Flat-bottom rests on a counter without rolling. Useful when scooping from a canister and setting down between doses.
Volume measurement, accurate by weight?
Bean density varies. 15 ml of light roast weighs less than 15 ml of dark roast. For gram-precision, use a scale. The scoop is consistent volume, approximate weight.
Set or single?
Pick one of the three styles at order. For all three, order multiple.
