An espresso machine with a grinder asks for two routines, one for the brew side, one for the burrs.

After each session: Wipe the steam wand right after use. Knock out the spent grounds, rinse the portafilter and basket.
Daily: Run a blank shot to flush the grouphead. Empty the drip tray.
Weekly: Vacuum the bean hopper, clean the grinder chute of static-clung grounds, wipe the housing.
Monthly to quarterly: Descale with a citric solution if your water is hard. Run a grinder cleaning tablet through the burrs.

Does it grind beans automatically?

Yes. The integrated grinder doses fresh beans into the brew chamber for each pull. You set the grind size on the dial, the machine handles the rest.

Can I program the shot length?

Yes, the machine is programmable. Set your preferred shot volume once and the pump will stop at that mark on every subsequent pour.

How long does it take to heat up?

About a minute for the brew temperature, plus another minute for the steam to be ready. The 1700 W heating element is fast.

What grind range does it offer?

Espresso range, fine to medium-fine. The dial covers the brewing zone for pump espresso. For French press or pour-over grinds, use a separate grinder.

What plug should I order?
