Sunlight catches the glass beaker. The coarse grounds swim and bloom. The slow plunge, the rich aroma, the quiet moment earned before the day begins.
The Atelier Glass Press is an honest tool for a transparent brew. We chose high-clarity, thermal shock-resistant borosilicate glass, supported it with a polished stainless steel frame, and built in a multi-stage filtration system for a clean, full-bodied cup.
Steel hides the bloom. Plastic feels hollow. You want to see your coffee.

Care & maintenance
A simple ritual to maintain the clarity and function of your press.
- Disassemble completely after each use. The filter screen and spiral plate all separate for easy cleaning.
- Rinse with warm water immediately after brewing to prevent coffee oils from setting.
- Wash by hand or machine. The glass beaker and stainless filter assembly are dishwasher safe. We recommend hand-washing the frame and lid.
- Use a soft cloth on the polished steel to avoid scratches and preserve the mirror finish.
- Air dry fully before reassembling to keep the mechanism fresh and ready for the next brew.
Tip from our atelier: Don't let used grounds sit. A quick rinse now is worth ten scrubs later.
Brewing guide
Use a burr grinder to get a consistent, coarse grind resembling breadcrumbs.
Add your measured grounds to the dry, empty glass beaker.
Pour in hot water (about twice the weight of the coffee) and wait 30 seconds for the coffee to release its aroma.
Pour the rest of your heated water evenly over the grounds and place the lid on top with the plunger pulled all the way up.
Let the coffee infuse for exactly four minutes. Do not stir, just let time and water do the work.
Apply slow, steady pressure to the plunger for a clean press that takes about 20 seconds from top to bottom.
