How does the built-in press work?
The base of the mug holds a stainless filter assembly that twists in. Add coarse grounds, pour hot water, screw the lid, wait four minutes, then twist the lid to push the filter to the bottom. The brew sits above the grounds, ready to drink.
Will it leak in a bag?
The lid seals tight when fully closed. Always check the lid is locked before sliding it into a bag. Direct drinking through the top valve, no spill when upright.
Does it stay hot 24 hours?
12 to 24 hours depending on fill volume and ambient temperature. A full mug, capped immediately after brewing, holds drinking temperature through a long workday. Smaller fills cool faster.
Can I use it for tea?
Yes. The press works the same way for loose-leaf tea. Coarser leaves filter cleaner.
Hand wash or dishwasher?
