- Use the silicone mat: It catches drips and spills before they reach the scale body. Rinse the mat under the tap, let it air dry.
- Calibrate occasionally: If the readout drifts, recalibrate with a known weight (instructions in the manual). Once every few months is enough.
- Store flat: Stacking heavy items on the platform can damage the sensors. Keep it on the counter or in a drawer, nothing on top.
- Charge before it dies: The battery lasts weeks, but recharge before it hits zero to extend its lifespan.
