- Daily: Wipe the wooden top with a slightly damp cloth, dry immediately.
- Avoid: Soaking, prolonged moisture on the wood top.
- Battery: Replace when readings flicker.

500 g enough for pour-over?
For the brew side yes, the scale weighs water and grounds in real time. The 500 g caps at half a liter of water plus the dose, sized for one to two cups at a time.
Wooden top, real wood?
Wooden finish, often a thin wood veneer or wood-print laminate over the digital base. Reads premium, fits a wooden countertop.
Why a smaller capacity than the 3 kg model?
Pour-over rarely needs more than 500 g. The smaller scale is more accurate at low weights and physically smaller on the counter.
