Tempo USB Grinder
Ceramic burr · USB-C charged · One-touch cordless
No outlet, no fresh grind.
You're in a hotel room, beans in hand, and the only grinder you own needs a wall socket that isn't there.
The good beans stay sealed in the bag because grinding them means a cord, a counter, and an outlet you rarely have. The Tempo settles it. It runs off a built-in battery you charge from any USB-C port in about three hours, then grinds for up to a week of daily cups before it needs power again. A ceramic conical burr does the work, so what lands in the clear jar is even grounds, not the chopped dust a blade leaves behind. Fresh coffee becomes a thing you do anywhere, on a desk, a kitchen, a packed bag, without hunting for the nearest plug.
Whole beans, wherever you wake up.

Care & maintenance
The burr, hopper and chamber lift out for cleaning, so the Tempo wipes down in seconds and the ceramic burr lasts for years.
- Rinse the washable parts: The catch jar, hopper and ceramic burr pop out and rinse clean under the tap. The ceramic burr never rusts, so a quick wash keeps oils from building up.
- No water on the motor: Wipe the plastic top section with a damp cloth, but never submerge it. The motor housing is the one part that stays dry.
- Charge every few weeks: Even if unused, the battery holds longer when cycled occasionally. Plug in overnight, unplug in the morning.
- Store open: Leave the lid off when not in use so trapped moisture evaporates. Closed lids trap humidity and turn old grounds into mold.
Frequently asked
What grind does it produce?
An even, consistent medium grind that suits drip machines, pour-over cones and AeroPress beautifully. The ceramic burr crushes beans uniformly instead of chopping them like a blade grinder, so your cup tastes cleaner.
How long does a charge last?
The built-in 1,200 mAh battery charges fully in about 3 hours over USB-C and holds up to a week of daily grinding. Top it up off a phone charger or power bank · no base, no cord on the counter.
How much can it grind at once?
Up to 0.9 oz (25 g) of beans per grind, enough for three to five cups. It stops on its own once the beans run out, so you never grind an empty chamber.
Why ceramic burrs instead of steel?
Ceramic stays cooler during grinding, so heat does not cook the coffee oils. It is also quieter than a blade grinder and will never rust.
Can I use it while it charges?
It is built to run on battery power, so the design is simple by intent: charge it up, then grind cord-free anywhere · kitchen, desk, suitcase or campsite.
