Care & maintenance

Stainless steel forgives almost everything. Hand wash the lid gasket.

  • Hand wash recommended: The bottle body is dishwasher-safe, but the powder coat finish lasts longer with warm soapy water and a soft sponge.
  • Wash the lid separately: Unscrew both caps, rinse the inner spout and gasket after every use. Trapped coffee oils turn stale.
  • Dry fully before storing: Leave the lid off overnight. Trapped moisture in a sealed vacuum flask develops odor over time.
  • Stains: Baking soda paste, fifteen minutes, soft brush, rinse. No bleach, it corrodes the steel and voids the vacuum seal.

Frequently asked

How does the dual-purpose lid work?

The outer lid unscrews and doubles as a drinking cup. The inner cap seals the bottle and acts as a pour spout when you tip it into the cup. Two vessels, one piece of luggage.

Will it fit in a car cup holder?

The bottle diameter is about 2.75 inches (3 in). It fits most standard cup holders, though the handle adds width, if your holder is tight, rotate the handle upward.

How long does it keep coffee hot?

About six to eight hours at a drinkable temperature. Preheat the bottle with boiling water for thirty seconds before filling, it extends the hold by another hour or two.

Can I use it for cold brew?

Yes. Cold liquids stay cold for twelve to twenty-four hours depending on starting temperature and ambient heat. The vacuum insulation works both ways.

Is 12 oz enough?

For espresso-based drinks, yes, a double shot with milk fits easily. For filter coffee, it is two modest cups. If you drink a full carafe before noon, look at the larger travel mugs instead.
