What's the 3 kg capacity for?
Large enough for a kettle full of water (1-2 kg) plus the scale itself, plus a brewing vessel. Useful for pour-over where you weigh the water as it pours.
Tare function?
Standard on all digital scales. Place your vessel, press tare, the scale zeros. Add coffee, the reading is just the coffee weight.
