Care & maintenance

Stainless steel forgives almost everything. The burrs need a monthly brush.

• Brush the burrs: After every 10 to 15 grinds, use the included brush to sweep old grounds and oils out of the burr chamber. Old coffee residue turns rancid and flavors the next batch.
• Wipe the body: A damp cloth on the stainless steel exterior keeps fingerprints and dust at bay. No abrasive cleaners, they scratch the finish.
• Empty the catch chamber: Do not leave ground coffee sitting overnight. Oils oxidize and go stale fast, especially in a transparent chamber under light.
• Charge before empty: Lithium batteries last longer if you recharge around 20 to 30 percent rather than waiting until fully drained.
